My work uses objects from American culture to focus attention on the products we, as a country, produce and consume. Sometimes subverting the structure of the object by disassembling it, or more recently by reproducing the objects in tromp l'oeil still lifes. The goal of each piece is to highlight the actual and perceived worth of the portrayed object.
